The staff was accommodating and amicable, the room was beautifully decorated. The breakfast had delightful choices and there were pastries and fresh fruit. The location offered was fantastic and good right by the restaurant and the pub.

I had a fantastic stay at the Lion's Den, with a room worthy of royalty and staff who went above and beyond. The complimentary pastries and the Rock and Scallop restaurant downstairs were divine. Highly recommended!

Oh, how disappointing that there wasn't more variety for breakfast! And I simply couldn't have my cuppa in peace with the shared tea area.

Greatly enjoyed my stay here and can't recommend highly enough it. Had 2 nights in Cowbridge, spending my time here lovely. The room was high quality and incredibly spacious, included clean bathroom. Garden view was a pleasant bonus.

Had a nice size double room with a kitchenette, table and chairs, for instance. Tea and coffee making equipment, and a refrigerator were provided.

The room was beautifully furnished with a cozy seating area, perfect for relaxing after a long day. I loved having a private bathroom with a modern shower and free toiletries, making me feel pampered. The tea/coffee maker in the room was a blessing, helping me start my mornings on a high note.

Personally, I found the desk in the room a bit small for my needs, but others might still find it useful.

It was in a fantastic location right by the pub as well as the restaurant. Also, Hensol Woods was 2 km away...

Beautifully decorated room with a comfy bed and spotless ensuite bathroom. The sitting area adjoining the bedroom was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and gave a warm welcome upon arrival. They were also helpful and accommodating, providing us with a table, crockery, and cutlery for our take-away delivery.- The self-service breakfast in the small kitchen area on the landing had a nice selection of pastries, fresh fruit, overnight oats, granola, and fresh orange juice.

The restaurant was fully booked upon our last-minute arrival, but they did provide a solution by allowing us to have a take-away delivery in the dining area. The sitting room adjoining the guest bedroom seemed underutilized with no TV and the tea and coffee making facilities located outside on the landing.

Stylish and incredibly spacious hotel room with an exceptionally comfortable bed and private bathroom.

It was reasonably spacious and gorgeous, good enough for celebrating birthday. Location: the hotel was really close to the pub and the restaurant. The food was gorgeous, had a wide array of options. It was a fab stay, the best I had before.

The staff is LOVELY, great. The location it has so close to the pub, and the restaurant is marvellous.

We had a fabulous stay at the White Lion. The Green Room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had a super comfy bed. The separate lounge area and large bathroom were impressive, and the bathroom products smelled amazing. The hospitality from Oscar and his team was top-notch. We were blown away by our accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to book again. The location was convenient, only a 20-25 minute car journey into Cardiff.

We booked The White Lion for a birthday treat and had a fabulous stay. The staff, especially Mathew in the Kitchen, were friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The food was amazing and the location was perfect for our plans. The attention to detail and thought put into making our stay pleasant was evident. We highly recommend this hotel!
